With the strict new government rules, a lot of businesses need to close temporarily. This is devastating. What does the future hold? None of us know exactly but, there is something we can do now. Something positive. Something that will pay dividends in the recovery which will come.

I would like to stress how important it is to maintain a focus on your activity online – your website, social media and digital marketing. The world outside has been brought to a stand still by COVID-19, however, Google is not in self isolation. In fact, far from it.

Technically speaking, the algorithms on Google, our websites and our social media continues. Take full advantage of any extra time you have at the moment to work on your business; those website changes you were going to make, that blog you were going to write, that social media page you need to schedule posts for.

When we come out of the other side of this truly awful episode, your business and your brand will still be up there – on top.
