Having worked with words and created many pages of copy I do confess I have my favourites – words that is.

However, I also believe there are some words you should avoid where possible.

The fact that I avoid these words doesn’t mean I’ll never ever use them though.

To me these words seem overused.

And the problem with overused words? 💡

👀People’s eyes glaze over when they read them. 👩🏻‍💻

And that’s not what you want!

My advice?

If the sentence reads fine without the fluff word – delete it.🔪

If you need the meaning, choose an alternative word.
